One more Date Macro pretty please...

I'm pretty sure this will be the last one that I need, and it **should** be fairly trivial to add -- I need ordinal date, sometimes also called Julian date.
Specifically, I'd like this as a three digit number between 001 and 366 representing the nth day of the year.

UNIX uses date +%j to express this number.

Thank you for your support and a really superior product.

I have added your suggestion to the to do list. While you are absolutely right about the triviality of adding support for the macro from technical point of view, I am afraid that we won't be able to ship the update that quickly. The reason is that we do not plan any further BizCrypto 9 updates for the moment, and there is still a lot of preparatory things to do within BizCrypto 10 schedule (where the macro is going to be introduced).

We've got a workaround, just want to consolidate and reduce the number or adapters I need to maintain in our system to a minimum.

Looking forward to v10

Inokenty, has this request been rolled into any of the new versions of BizCrypto?
I was doing a search on your site and didn't find anything new relevant to the request for a Julian/Ordinal date macro since my request back in 2012, so was wondering.

To reiterate -- what's wanted is a macro that would expand to a three-digit ordinal date -- i.e. January 1 would be 001, February 1 would be 032 and December 31 either 365 or 366 if in a leap year, etc.

Best Regards,

Hi Mark,

I've just re-checked the project documentation and I am really sorry to say that the aforementioned macro has not been rolled out yet. I've increased the priority of the task to urgent so the feature will appear in the next product update.

Thank you for reminding us about the task and sorry for delay with implementing it.

no worries.
We just moved to a new server but haven't moved over the adapter we had created as a work-around back in 2012 ( and to be honest, we don't really want to bring that adapter over as it would conflict with one that MicroSoft introduced in BizTalk 2013 R2 ) thus the need to revisit the implementation in BizCrypto.

Thanks again.
