This topic follows this one: https://www.eldos.com/forum/read.php?FID=12&TID=3711
I have downloaded BizCrypto version 9.1.216
Obviously I can compress one file easily, however I cannot figure how you configure it in order to compress multiple files. There is no specific topic about the ZIP adapter within the help file, and the only hint on your website is this one: http://www.eldos.com/security/articles/7582.php

How do you transmit the batch to the ZIP adapter?

I cannot use the method described here for instance: http://www.biztalkgurus.com/biztalk_server/biztalk_2006/f/10/p/10254/22502.aspx

Thank you for your help.

To compress multiple files to one ZIP archive you need to satisfy two conditions:

1) Set the Delivery Type property of the ZIP adapter to Batched Transactional,

2) Actually pass batches of files to the ZIP-driven send port. For example, you can configure the FILE adapter that picks local files and passes them to the send port to process files in batches of appropriate sizes.

For 1) it is what I have guessed. The issue with the file adpater is there are too much limitations, I cannot have more than 256 messages for one batch, and the behavior of batch creation with the file adapter is too unpredictable (even with less than 256 messages submitted at once I have several batches but I want only one)

I think it would have been more flexible with a pipeline component like the Zip writer. Thank you anyway.

I was able to zip multiple files this way:

1) Put the files in the same folder.

2) Set the SourceType to DirectInput.

3) Set the SourcePath to the folder.

4) Set the SourceMask by typing all the filenames, separated by semicolons (no spaces).
