we have updated our SFTP Adapter to the newest version.
After the successful installation of the adapter and the configuration of our Receive Locations and Send Ports we have a lot of entries inside the event viewer.

All these entries are from the type "Information" although our settings for the Trace are:
Trace Filename :
Trace Mode : Error
Trace to Event Log: Yes
Trace to File : No

Entry examples:
- AdapterProperties::UpdateUriForDynamicSend() Uri: bc-sftp://hiddenUser@hiddenPath/%SourceFileName%.xml
- EldoS SFTP Adapter (send): TransmitMessage()
- AdapterProperties::LoadFromMessage()

In my opinion these messages should be ignored with the Trace Mode "Error".
Do you have any helpful suggestions to deactivate these entries?

Sorry, but unfortunately, only after all properties will be parsed from adapter - only than Trace will be out with filtered settings.

In other words, these entries are submitted to the log before the adapter loads its settings from the port or message. On this stage the adapter "doesn't know" about the configuration assigned to the port by the administrator (and the supplied trace settings in particular), so it defaults to the Information trace level.

We discussed the question, and I guess we will add a possibility for the administrator to specify 'global' trace settings that will take effect when the adapter has not yet loaded the settings from adapter configuration (supposedly through a dedicated registry key). This will help overcome the problem.

We upgraded our adapter and found the same problem. Any update when this become available.

Hello Peter,

There were no BizCrypto updates since the fix has been made. We are preparing the update at the moment, hopefully it will be released within a couple of weeks.

We notice you've released version 9.1.216. Is this issue addressed in this update? We had a look in the release notes but dont see it mentioned.

Yes, BizCrypto for BizTalk 9.1.216 fixes the logging issue. We didn't mention this fact explicitly in the release notes due to its severity level, but the issue has in fact been addressed.
