Hi guys,

When using the EldoS BizCrypto SFTP adapter, we've encountered a rather annoying error: the adapter sometimes crashes the entire BizTalk host instance it's running under. This is, of course, not what we want it to do. (Luckily, we have a separate host instance for this specific application so it doesn't affect anything else, but still... it feels like a BizTalk adapter shouldn't crash under normal circumstances.)

The log messages look like this (customer-specific information removed for obvious reasons):

08/10/2009 13:30:12 EldoS SFTP Adapter (receive)
URI: bc-sftp//xxxx@xx.xxx.xxx.xx:22/home/out/xxx*.dat

EldoS SFTP Adapter: Failed to transfer file(s): Failed to establish SFTP connection (error code is 103)

08/10/2009 13:30:12 Faulting application btsntsvc.exe, version 3.6.1404.0, stamp 4674b0a4, faulting modulekernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4062, stamp 4626467c, debug? 0, fault address 0x00022366.

Then, we had some more errors similar to the first one (SFTP error code 103) after the host instance had crashed which is strange... but maybe it was caused of only one thread crashing or similar. The Biztalk host instance recovered at 13:31:29.

The version of BizCrypto installed is 7.1.163.

For the moment, we haven't had any more verbose debugging enabled than this, but I've just set up a file with Debug-level verbosity active, so if/when it happens again, I should be able to provide more info.

Do EldoS have an answer to how we solve this issue, or maybe someone else have similar experiences with the SFTP BizTalk adapter?

Best regards,
Per Lundberg
