Rethync comes with HTTP and MsgConnect transports and you can easily implement your own custom transports.
MsgConnect transport uses MsgConnect, cross-platform message-oriented communication framework, to communicate between the client and the server.
HTTP transport uses native platform capabilities in .NET, Java and PHP. In VCL and C++ HTTP transport uses SecureBlackbox for HTTP client.
You can create custom transports easily by using source code of existing classes as a sample. In particular it's possible to create descendant transports that will store information on "dumb" servers (where Rethync server can't be launched - corporate NAS or SFTP servers, cloud storages etc). SecureBlackbox offers uniform cloud client APIs for major cloud services.
