CallbackFilter.FlushFilesOnClose property

Pascal    C++ (Lib)    C++ (VCL)    C++ (.NET)    C#    VB.NET

Specifies whether file buffers must be flushed once the file is closed.

    property FlushFilesOnClose : boolean;

[C++ (Lib)]
    void SetFlushFilesOnClose(BOOL Value);
    bool GetFlushFilesOnClose(void);

[C++ (VCL)]
    __property bool FlushFilesOnClose;

[C++ (.NET)]
    property bool FlushFilesOnClose

    bool FlushFilesOnClose;

    Public Property FlushFilesOnClose As Boolean

Use this property to have the filter flush buffers of the file being monitored after that file was opened for writing and some data were written to it. This is useful when your code performs modifications of the file data as the file is being written to. For example, this property should be set to true by filters that alter the saved data (encryption etc), which need the data to be flushed from memory cache and memory mappings so that the encryption filter could encrypt this data before the file is closed.

Property value can be changed only when when the filter is active, i.e. Active is true.
