The FTPS Adapter provides FTP and FTPS (FTP over SSL) client functionality for automating data transfer in your BizTalk Server solutions.
The server name is specified by the FTPSHost property. To authenticate to the server, you must provide a user name (FTPSUser), and a password (FTPSPassword). By default, an unencrypted FTP connection is used, to use secured connection, set SSLUse property to True. Use the corresponding properties (SSL*) to specify various parameters of the secured connection.
Data transfer may be realized in ASCII or binary mode, as specified by the FTPSTransferMode property.
When required, the connection to FTP server may be established through a proxy. Use the corresponding properties to specify various parameters of the proxy server. If the connection is established through firewall or proxy server, it may be useful to set the FTPSPassiveMode property to True.
The FTPS Receive Adapter receives files from an FTPS server. With the interval, specified by Polling Interval, the Adapter will connect to the server and list the files in the directory specified by Remote Path. All files that match File Mask will be downloaded. In order to avoid multiple download of files, set the Delete Mode property.
The FTPS Send Adapter sends files to the FTPS server. Whenever there is a message to be sent, the Adapter connects to the specified by Address server, and uploads data to Remote File Name. If Overwrite Existing Files is set to True, existing files on the server will be overwritten.
