Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is a set of standards that define all aspects of creation, use and disposal of certificates based on public keys.
PKI infrastructure also includes various functions to sign and encrypt generic data, to timestamp the signatures and to sign the executable files in Windows.
PKIBlackbox is available in several editions for various software platforms.
.NET edition.
Built with Chrome, this edition of PKIBlackbox includes pure managed components, carefully optimized to achieve maximum performance, comparable to native processor code.
.NET edition requires .NET Framework 1.1, .NET Framework 2.0, .NET Framework 3.0, .NET Framework 3.5, Mono 1.0, Mono 2.0, .NET CF 1.0, .NET CF 2.0 or .NET CF 3.5.
.NET edition can be used on Windows desktop systems, Windows Mobile PDAs and on Linux systems with Mono installed.
ActiveX/DLL edition.
ActiveX controls and Dynamically-Linked Libraries are useable with any development tool, which supports ActiveX or DLLs.
They let you add security to both C++ or Visual Basic 6 applications and shell or server-side scripts.
ActiveX/DLL edition works on any computer with Windows 98 and later.
VCL edition.
