MIMEBlackbox features
With MIMEBlackbox you can parse and assemble e-mail messages and also secure (sign, encrypt, verify, decrypt) these messages using S/MIME and OpenPGP/MIME extensions.
General MIME features, supported by MIMEBlackbox are:
- parsing and assembly of MIME-conformant mail messages of any complexity;
- (optional) on-demand decoding of encoded message parts;
- stream-based processing, which lets you handle huge amounts of data without significant memory requirements
S/MIME functionality lets you:
- support S/MIME versions 2 and 3;
- sign and encrypt MIME messages or message parts using X.509 certificates;
- decrypt and verify MIME messages or message parts using X.509 certificates;
- support for Cryptocards and USB Crypto Tokens
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Message) techonology support includes the following functions:
- generation of DKIM keys (public and private);
- creation of records suitable for placing to DNS;
- signing of messages using DKIM;
- verification of messages using DKIM information obtained from the DNS
PKI Infrastructure is used by MIMEBlackbox for S/MIME support and is provided by PKIBlackbox, which is included with MIMEBlackbox.
Open PGP format is used by MIMEBlackbox for OpenPGP/MIME support and is provided by OpenPGPBlackbox (available separately or as a part of SecureBlackbox Professional or SecureBlackbox Data Security).
