SecureBlackbox-based iPhone application in AppStore

20 January 2012

Good news for us and for users: one of our customers has built and published an application for Apple iPhone devices using FreePascal as a programming language and VCL edition of SecureBlackbox as a security framework. The application has a real-life use: validate signed PDF documents right on device (without any external web services). While it's likely that there exist more applications for iOS built with SecureBlackbox, this application is first we know of that has been approved and published in AppStore.

This fact not only shows that it's possible to make iOS applications with FreePascal and SecureBlackbox, but proves that these development tools and libraries are ready for prime time!
