I'm trying to run the VCL-example included in the CbFS bundle with Borland Delphi. With that sample mounter app I can sucessfully load the driver, but when I hit the Mount-button, I always get an "access denied" error. Inspecting the code, the FCbFS.CreateStorage method raises the exception. What to do?

You do have a 'C:\1' directory on your machine don't you? (That was the first mistake I made :-). The second was I already had a Z drive so it wouldn't add the mount point.).

Keith

Thank you for your quick reply Keith. It doesn't matter which directory I try to mount or which drive letter I choose to be the mounted drive, it keeps on giving the same error.

Sorry don't know then as when I downloaded it and compiled it up, it worked fine.

Have you received and specified the license key (either trial or registered)?

Sincerely yours,

Thank you Eugene, I am now able to mount a directory. It seems that I used the wrong license key.
